What you can generate
Choose 3 or 4 players and the board option shown above. The illustrated board keeps the starting arrangement. The variable board shuffles only the named rulebook pools; the discovery and reward pieces remain separate setup supplies. An unsupported choice is reported clearly instead of being changed for you.

- Setup guidance: The board follows the arrangement shown in the rulebook. Only the rulebook-defined variable areas are shuffled; harbor locations and types stay fixed.
- Use the setup inventory to gather tiles, number discs, ports, markers, and supplied pieces before play.
At the table
The illustrated option keeps the reward and discovery markers where the rulebook shows them. The variable option changes only its published board pools. Use the inventory to prepare the edge rewards, hidden cards, and face-up port pieces; consult the rulebook for how players discover and collect them.
